The world of property management is constantly evolving, and at Fixflo, we're dedicated to evolving with it. We want to ensure our platform remains the most efficient and reliable tool in your arsenal. The past year has been a period of significant innovation, which is why we want to highlight our latest product updates.

What has been released this year?

PLANNED MAINTENANCE TOOL

Merging issues

You can now merge issues, which significantly reduces administrative effort for both you and your contractors, making the process much more seamless. To merge, the issues must be at the same property and currently be at the 'Reported' status. This feature is intended for issues that will be sent to the same contractor, so remember not to merge issues designated for different contractors.

Bulk add remedials

You can now easily add more than one remedial before you close a planned maintenance job. These will be created as new issues at the issue status ‘Reported’.

Compliance matrix is easier to navigate

We have frozen the top row of the compliance matrix, which shows you how you are doing with compliance. This feature makes it much easier for you to navigate and see, at a glance, how compliant you are across your entire portfolio.

It’s important to note that this is a Professional and Manager Package exclusive.

Service event improvements

You can now bulk reassign pending service events to the issue assignee on your properties. This is a great feature for when you have a new member of staff and need to reassign your properties. However, you do need to opt in to have this switched on.

Bulk updating landlord approval on service events

There is a new bulk action under ‘Service events’. It means you can now bulk update your landlord approval interval.

CO-PILOT

Better audits on Co-pilot

We have added a ‘Revisions’ tab on each Co-pilot rule, helping you to see who made which changes to the rule.

Co-Pilot: Bank holiday improvements

It can be difficult to keep up with all the bank holidays in the year, which is why you can now view the bank holiday dates which we have added to the system for you. You can also add new bank holiday dates or closed dates.

This is all done through our new filter on Co-pilot to help you manage bank holidays.

Offboarding properties

You can now offboard your properties (if this is switched on for you). This means that when a property is deactivated on Fixflo, it will move the property into the stage ‘Being offboarded’.

This means:

  • Occupants will no longer be able to report issues at the property,
  • Service events will be archived,
  • And open issues will remain open so you can work through issues.

DASHBOARD

Group your dashboard panels by ‘Property’

You can now configure your dashboard panels and group issues by ‘Property’. This can help to understand which of your properties have the most issues.

Edit ‘What is the problem?’ text on the occupier side of FixfloImprovements to our emails
We’ve increased font size for better usability and accessibility. We have now also defaulted to a darker font on emails.

Contractor app improvements

Contractors now have a calendar view available on the app, making it easier for them to manage their diaries.

New Fixflo Academy courses

There is now a dedicated course for Help me Fix and Aidenn, to help you understand these new additions to our system. There is also a SLAs course, however SLAs is part of the Manager package.

Already a customer and want to be taken through these features step-by-step?

What’s coming in 2026?

Improvement of job management integrations

We have already launched an integration with ServiceM8. Contractors can simply update ServiceM8 and this will then update Fixflo automatically, and contractors will never even have to log into Fixflo to update an issue.

You can find out more about our ServiceM8 integration here.

And big news: We are going to launch an integration with Big Change in 2026.

Alto Planned Maintenance integration

If you have the Alto <> Fixflo integration set up, you will be able to sync your Management Events from Alto into Fixflo’s Planned Maintenance tool. Fixflo will support you to get this set up, so the process is stress-free.

We will start with certain certificates, such as Gas Safety Certificates, EPCs and EICRs, and build up from there.

Improvements to out of office

If you select on Fixflo that you will be out of office, you will be able to choose another member of the team to receive the comment notifications instead, so that important messages are not missed. They will also receive an email notification when a new issue is reported at one of your assigned properties.
