David Cox, Chief Executive, ARLA Propertymark

David Cox is Chief Executive of ARLA Propertymark. He joined ARLA, Association of Residential Letting Agents, in January 2014 bringing a sharply focused policy and stakeholder engagement perspective. David has worked alongside a diverse board of experienced practitioners from across the industry to transform ARLA into ARLA Propertymark, an organisation which protects consumers through measures including Client Money Protection, campaigning for mandatory regulation of the lettings industry and raising professional standards. David has held senior policy roles at the National Landlords Association (NLA) and the International Union of Property Owners (UIPI); a trained barrister, David has also acted as Parliamentary Advisor to a well-known backbench MP.

David Smith, Partner, JMW Solicitors

David specialises in residential property rights and agency and has experience of a wide range of property litigation. He is particularly well known for his work in:

  • Agent terms of business and other contracts;
  • Tenancy agreements and licences;
  • Consumer protection and rights;
  • Agent regulation including Client Money Protection, data protection and anti-money laundering;
  • Landlord regulation including deposit protection and property licensing;

Greg Tsuman, Lettings Director, Martyn Gerrard

Greg joined the company as a trainee in 2002 and quickly progressed to become a Lettings Manager in 2003. He was made a Director in 2010 and in 2015 became an equity shareholder in the company. Under his leadership the Letting Department has grown to become the number one agent in most parts of North London. His achievements include multiple industry awards, including two Gold Awards by the Sunday Times and “Best” in the Estate Agent Guide UK. 

A regional representative of ARLA Propertymark since 2014, Greg takes an active part in ensuring that industry standards are upheld and improved. Greg recognises that staff are the most important asset and carefully plans personal development plans for each member of his lettings team. The expected high levels of customer service are constantly monitored and reviewed to ensure performance standards continue improving. His special interests are BTL tax planning and legislation.

Rajeev Nayyar, Managing Director, Fixflo

Rajeev Nayyar is the Managing Director of Fixflo, the UK’s leading repairs and maintenance software for residential and commercial property.

Starting his career as a property solicitor, Raj worked in the City and New Zealand. The Fixflo concept came from Raj's experiences as a landlord and tenant, and the platform is now used in more than a million properties around the world.

Raj was selected as a Rising Star by Estates Gazette and is involved in various industry working groups with a particular focus on the intersection of property management, resident service and resident safety.
