The End of Section 21? Everything you need to know

Part of the Housing Act 1988, Section 21 gives landlords the right to evict tenants without giving any reason at the end
of their fixed tenancy or break clause date.

In December 2019, the government confirmed that they would be scrapping Section 21. Although it hasn't happened yet, we take a look at what has been said and what the background is for the proposed changes.
